About David
Born in Houston in 1962, I graduated from Memorial High School in 1980 and received a BA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin in 1984. I traveled internationally after college, then moved to California, where I cultivated a diverse management background, including 2 years in residential mortgage brokerage, 9 years in international trade management and 6 years in enterprise software sales management.
Returning to Houston in 2001, I obtained my Real Estate License and joined my father, David H. Young, in residential real estate sales with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors. My father has been recognized as one of the top 5 agents in Houston in terms of dollar sales since 1997, consistently selling over $60 million every year since 2000. In January 2005, we started the David Young Team, bringing together top producing agents and experienced assistants to provide the highest quality service to buyers and sellers of residential real estate.
In each of our years as a team, we have been recognized by the Houston Business Journal as one of the Top 5 Teams in Houston, with sales volume typically above $100,000,000 per year. Much of my personal production comes from referral business, working with buyers and sellers throughout the west side of Houston, from Downtown west to Katy, from Sugar Land north to The Woodlands.
Due to our proven ability to deliver as a team, we have the honor of representing some of the premier builders in the Houston area in the sale of their new construction. Completely satisfying our clients is our primary concern, because satisfied clients generate repeat business and referrals.
