About Gary

I moved to the Boyne area in 1986 from Ohio after considering several communities in the northwestern section of the lower peninsula of Michigan.  Among the many reasons for my choice are the beautiful hills, crystal clear streams, and lakes as well as the proximity to Boyne Mountain Resort, Lake Charlevoix and Walloon Lake – all of which are well known for recreational activities year round.  Since my arrival I have learned to enjoy the amenities of the area and its many offerings.   I now believe that this is among the finest areas in the world in which to live and work.

I am active in local community events, the Chamber of Commerce, Boyne Thunder, and the local association of Realtors as well as being Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Resort Properties in Boyne City, Michigan.   The RE/MAX system and name recognition has been an excellent venue for allowing my business to grow and flourish.  Statistics show that past customers and clients are my best source of referrals and revenue.  It pays to make people happy.

I enjoy the opportunity to help my clients meet or exceed their real estate needs, with the added bonus of becoming their friends in the process.

In 2008 I received the designation of Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist to better help my clients evaluate and market their waterfront, vacation and residential properties.   The focus is on all sports lakes including Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, Walloon Lake,  Burt Lake, Crooked Lake, Deer Lake and Six Mile Lake.
