My wife and I met with Gwen in 2002 when my business was just starting and our credit rating was just average. We needed a home that had a large garage for our business and no home owner's association rules. She was a whirlwind of action for us. First she listed and sold our existing home at above market value by extolling its custom features to the buyers. Second, her quick and professional search of the homes available that met our needs enabled us to find several in area that was still undervalued. Gwen found a home that was a little above the high end of our price range, and not only got us a "screaming deal" but then worked with a lender to get us a loan with a rate we could afford. WOW is all I can say. Gwen goes above and beyond your expectations and caters to your every need. We would not have found our dream home or been able to afford it without Gwen's intervention. About Gwendolyn
I have been in a hurry for most of my life. I don’t know why, other than life has been so full of interesting and rich experiences that I worried if I did not hurry a little, I might miss something. I was born six weeks ahead of time and weighed in at a hefty four pounds. Even then, I hurried. In size, I caught up to my peers in short order. My first career was a “Navy Brat” and the oldest of six children. That career gave me the survival skills I would need later to lead Real Estate offices. I thrive in noise and commotion. I can ride long distances, cramped in the back seat of a car, without throwing up and can fall asleep anywhere. I learned not to cry over spilled milk and to eat what everyone else did not want to, so no one cried. I also accepted responsibility for things that were not my fault and learned the art of peace keeping. My second career, as a Registered Nurse, began in 1971. I worked around the clock with little sleep, learned that compassion and attention to detail can mean the difference between life and death, and never, ever took for granted anything, ever again. I saved lives, soothed tears, delivered babies and counseled the mentally ill. Again, I gathered more skills for selling real estate and they are the ones not found in books. My third career as the mother of three children began in 1977. Talk about skills! I used everything I had learned before and added the ability to do anything with no sleep, developed a very high sense of awareness of all things going on around me, even when they were supposed to a secret. In 1990, my fourth career, Real Estate, began in Michigan. I was a REALTORÒ there until 1997.We moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where I was selected to lead several large offices. I managed, recruited, trained, coached and helped build some legendary careers. In 2004, I moved to Jacksonville, Florida. It did not take long to figure out which company had an extraordinary culture. The “Watson Way” is a perfect fit. Since I joined the team, I have had the pleasure of serving as Corporate Trainer, Broker/ Vice President of the Atlantic Beach Office and currently I am a part of the dynamic sales team at the Ponte Vedra office in Ponte Vedra Beach, I am a member of The Luxury Team. We specialize in the marketing and sales of distinctive properties.
