About John . . . . John Surtees really enjoys working with people and assisting them through the process of selling or buying what will generally be their most valuable investment. He made the transition to real estate by joining the RE/MAX network in 2007, fulfilling one of his ambitions which was to work within Ladysmith and the surrounding areas. People likely don’t know how actively involved he is in the community. Over the years he has helped to organize and participated in community events such as Paddlefest, Yellowpoint Pant & Paddle, The Guinness World Record Street Hockey Tournament and most recently Ladysmith Thursday Nite Live. John recently completed the Leadership BC Ladysmith program and continues in his role as the President of the Downtown Business Association.
