About Monica

Monica Rolquin is a 25-year veteran of residential sales and a licensed NC attorney, providing the highest level of professional services to her clients. Monica was born and raised in London, England, received a law degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and was admitted to the English bar as a Barrister in 1982. With her sights on a legal career in the U.S. she earned a Master of Laws degree from Columbia Law School in New York. She then became a litigation lawyer in New York City, eventually becoming a partner in two prestigious international law firms; Lord Day & Lord, Barrett Smith and Morgan Lewis & Bockius. In 1995. after a 14-year legal career, Monica retired from the practice of law and moved to Wilmington, NC. She became a NC  licensed attorney in 1996 and keeps it active for the benefit of her real estate clients.

Monica prides herself on providing a first-class, personalized level of service with an unparalleled combination of knowledge and expertise to achieve the real estate goals of her clients. She has been a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing since 2012 and earned her Guild membership in 2018.  

Monica is active in the local community as a memebr of the board of the Women's Impact Netowrk, a local philantrhopic group.  She is also a former board member of the Cape Fear Literacy Council.  Internationally, she and her husband have participated in mission trips to Nicaragua and El Salvador  In her spare time, she enjoys enjoys spending time with family and friends, boating, tennis and traveling.  Monica is passionate about selling real estate and the coastal lifestyle in Southeastern NC.
