About Amy

A native Washingtonian, Amy was born at The Columbia Hospital for Women, a historic building turned luxury condos (where she has listed and sold units).  One might say Amy was destined for Real Estate.  

Born into a Diplomatic family, Amy moved with her family to Cairo at the age of 3 months and two years later her family was evacuated during the  6-Day War. From Cairo her family was sent to Beirut. They returned to the US for a few years when her father was assigned to New Delhi, India.  The three year assignment turned into 7 years!  Growing up in India is where Amy spent her formative years. The last overseas assignment for her father was Johannesburg, South Africa, where Amy had the opportunity to experience before heading back to college.

Growing up in a Foreign Service family, Amy gained an appreciation for, interest in, and keen understanding of people from other countries and cultures.  Additionally, she learned the art of negotiating as it was the expected way when shopping.

Amy has always loved real estate and “house hunting.”  While raising her own family there were plenty of moves and house hunting trips along the way.  When she and her family returned to McLean and bought their home in 2001, it was her Real Estate Agent that suggested she get into real estate.  Amy took his advice and has been in business full-time as an Agent and Associate Broker in Virginia since 2003.  After a few years she also received her DC Realtor License.

Amy loves working with her clients and understands the importance of hand-holding when necessary to navigate her clients through the process from start to finish.  She always puts her clients’ needs first while working professionally and responsively to earn their trust.  

When she's not working you might find Amy baking pies or some form of bread, reading, exercising, enjoying the company of her family and friends, and/or loving on her grandsons and grandaughters.  

Amy holds both a VA Associate Broker License and a DC Real Estate License.  In addition, Amy has earned designations such as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS).

Amy covers these areas: Arlington County, Fairfax County, Alexandria City, and Falls Church City.  As a licensed agent in The District of Columbia her focused areas are the neighborhoods of Northwest, Northeast and Southeast.
