I began my second career as a Realtor after some 30 plusyears in nursing. I know your asking why become a Realtor now after a longcareer in the nursing?  Answer, though itwas time for me to retire from nursing I wasn’t ready to retire from the workforce completely. My husband and I bought Lake Life Realty in 2008 while I wasstill working full-time as an RN. I took real estate classes and became alicensed Realtor, and on my days off from nursing I was helping him with thebusiness. As time passed he became more and more successful and needed help inthe office. I put in my resignation and began working with him in his realestate business. Working as a team our business has increased exponentially inthe past three years.  I enjoy workingwith people and helping them achieve their goal of being a first time homebuyer,or having a vacation home, or weekend get-a-way, or a home to retire to. Just knowingthat we have helped someone fulfill their goal of ownership gives us a joy andsatisfaction that is indescribable.

I grew up in San Antonio and met Will in nursing school. Wehave always come to play here in the Texas Hill County and on Lake LBJ. Afterwe finally moved here Will would say, “Pinch me” I can’t believe I’m reallyliving here in God’s country”. Though I love living here I try to get back toSan Antonio once a month to see my Mom & Dad, daughter and twogranddaughters. Life is sweet here in the Highland Lakes Area of Texas.
