I’m a local AND atransplant.

 

I’m an insider. I grew up right here in the cozy arms of thecity of Hillsboro. I went to Glencoe High and graduated from the University ofPortland. I've been around since the Jones Farm neighborhood really was Jones’"Farm."

 

This kind of local perspective means I’ve got the goods onthe neighborhoods you’re interested in. Everything from the best places topaddle board to the highest rated schools and the tastiest local latte. Buteven better than that, I know the people here and each neighborhood’sdistinctive flavor.

 

But I’m also an outsider. My family immigrated to Americafrom Vietnam with very little and worked hard to move us to the beauty andsafety of Oregon. They bought and paid off their home and instilled a strongwork ethic in my brother, my sister, and me. We are a proud, loving, andclose-knit Oregon family.

 

I’ve also moved away, relocating briefly to California,before returning here to my home in the Pacific Northwest with my then-youngson. Moving away taught me a few things about what we locals may, at times,take for granted, like the true beauty of the lush Pacific Northwest, thekindness of our residents, and the thoughtful intention with which we do thingshere. It also taught me what it’s like to see it all from the outside.

 

This unique perspective informs all I do, helping me to seethings through my clients’ viewpoint, no matter where you’re from. It alsoallows me to tailor my approach to your specific needs, helping you get a legup on getting settled in.
