About Rebecca

Born & raised in Cheswick, PA, a suburb of Pittsburgh. In 1978, was recruited & moved to live in the Washington, DC area for 7 years where I continued my education in the evenings. I relocated to MA in late 1984. I was an Executive Recruiter, a Marketing Manager & later held the position of Program Manager for Banyan Systems, a leader in computer networking. My husband Joe & I moved to Port Charlotte, FL in 1996. We relocated his national executive recruiting company & I joined in his efforts, together we continued to grow that business.

I entered the real estate business in 2000 as a single agent & enjoyed a great deal of success as Charlotte County flourished. Late 2001, I formed the Becky Borci Team within the Coldwell Banker organization. I earned my Coldwell Banker Certified Global Luxury Specialist certificate in 2003.

In 2003 received my SRES designation. In 2007 earned my Florida Broker's License as well as my e-Pro designation. In April of 2008 I started my own brokerage, Becky Borci Realty. I'm very proud of the brokerage & it's agents. In January 2010 I achieved my GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) status to remain knowledgeable for our customers.

In early 2017 we realized we were not able to offer our customers and REALTOR agents what a GLOBAL worldwide brokerage could offer. We decided in May to merge back with Coldwell Banker Sunstar Realty, Member Schmidt Family of Companies, to take our CUSTOMERS, REALTORs and company to the next level. It's not about us, it's about our customers. Hence my motto from the beginning in 2000 - "OUR CUSTOMERS ARE OUR BUSINESS". Let my team be there for you!
