I was looking for a unique property that would accommodate my special family situation and a realtor who could find it for us. We needed to buy a home and move into it before we could sell the house we were living in. Rachael worked with us for over a year on our constantly changing requirements until we found the perfect home in Georgetown. We must have looked at over 30 properties before finding a brand new (I never thought I'd live in a brand new, 1-story house!) house on just under 1/3 of an acre in a great location. She listened, was patient, flexible and adaptable to our schedule, honest, provided valuable input and feedback on the properties we looked at, and worked hard to get us a great deal when we found the perfect home. We closed 3.5 weeks after the builder accepted our offer.Once we moved into our new home, I needed to get my old home ready to sell. Rachael walked through my home and made suggestions on what needed to be done to put my home in the best possible position to sell it as quickly as possible for as much money as possible. I followed all of her advice and accepted an offer two weeks after putting it on the market for $20K over what I thought I would get for it! Rachael is top notch. She's not going to tell you what you want to hear; she will tell you what you need to hear. She's not going to let you pick a house just because you're tired and frustrated at looking; she's going to encourage you to be patient and the right property will come along. She's not going to rush you into making a quick decision on the first few houses she shows you; she will show you as many houses or properties as you want to see. Once you find your perfect home, she will patiently guide you through the offer process, the acceptance, the lender paperwork, what does this term mean, what does that mean, hey could you repeat that for the 50th time, and finally, she'll be by your side and be the happiest person in the world for you when you get the keys to your new home. As my selling agent, she explained the whole process, let me know the key documents I needed to complete and by when, priced my house appropriately for the market and what I wanted to make from it, provided immediate feedback on all potential buyers who looked at my home and what they liked/disliked, negotiated the best possible offer, and was by my side when I turned the keys over to the new and very happy and grateful new owners. It's an amazing feeling to walk into our new home and feel so completely happy and content that it's our forever home. Thank you, Rachael, I am very grateful for you.
