Micah was knowledgable, friendly, professional and wonderful to work with. We highly recommend her to anyone. We are a military family and had many pressures to find a house and close within a short timeline. Micah showed us 16 houses in 2 days, negotiated our contract in the next 2 days, then scheduled an inspection 2 days later. We then closed in under 45 days. It was amazing, and she made everything happen. This was our first home buying experience, and all our friends and relatives were quite amazed at how easy the process was for us. We were a "special needs" case, a proper House Hunters International! The entire process took more than 6 months because we were located in South Africa and the house we wanted was in VB. Micah really went the extra mile to make sure we got the right house at the right price in the right area. All of this achieved while there was some 8000 miles between us. Micah and Stephanie's team were awesome!! They are extremely knowledgeable about the area and are super helpful when trying to find the perfect home! The sellers had issues when closing and Micah and her team where great in keeping us up to date and working with the sellers to get us closed!!

Not only did Micah Cummings sit and listen to our wants, she showed many places until we found the "one". Micah was very reassuring on the process and what to expect on purchasing a home. We are first time home buyers and had know idea what to expect. Micah walked us through every step, held our hands, made buying a home as less stressful that could be expected. Her negotiating skills were above par and when we told her what we would like done on the sale, she did everything she could to make it happen. Nothing up front out of our pockets was the best thing. We initially met Micah a year ago when we moved to the area and decided to rent versus own. Not knowing the area was daunting, but Micah put us at ease immediately and really helped us dial into a few areas that would suit our needs as a young family. So when we decided that we were comfortable enough to make a purchase, Micah was the first call we made. We picked up right where we left off and closed on our new house this month! She made a number of recommendations that we ended up choosing in the end (i.e. lenders, home owners insurance, contractors, etc) which made our lives significantly easier. In addition, her teammates at Stephanie Clark (in particular Kristin Harrell) drove us through the buying process in a way that we never experienced before. We felt so much less pressure/stress/anxiety throughout the whole process, and we have Micah to thank for that!!

Micah is originally from San Diego, California. Thanks to the Navy, she is thrilled to call Virginia Beach her permanent home. Micah brings over 15 years of experience in customer service to the team, including owning a local high-end retail boutique and a successful photography business. She is skilled in marketing & design and has outstanding communication skills, which suits her well in her specialization of high-end properties in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Norfolk. Her relaxed personality and sharp negotiation skills put her clients at ease during the process of buying and/or selling. Micah graduated from UCSD and has lived on both the east and west coasts, in addition to three years stationed in Germany. She currently lives in Great Neck with her husband, PJ (retired Navy Pilot) and four children.
