Robin Kencel, real estate broker and a founding partner of The Fieldstone Group of Sotheby’s International Realty, has over thirty years experience in the real estate industry. The Fieldstone Group is the leading real estate agent team in Greenwich. In 2012, Ms. Kencel was ranked among the top 10 realtors in Greenwich and has received several industry distinctions throughout her career. 

Ms. Kencel is an avid preservationist.  and has restored and renovated a number of important historic homes in Greenwich and other luxury markets.   In 1991, Ms. Kencel founded Ellsworth Ford Associates, a firm providing project management, space planning and interior design for luxury residences.  Clients frequently look to Ms. Kencel for her insights and advice during the buying process and as they prepare their homes for sale.

Ms. Kencel holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Philosophy from Georgetown University.  Prior to her career in real estate, she was in marketing management, strategic planning and new product development with Johnson & Johnson, Bristol Meyers and James River.  Her business acumen and marketing skills translate into property specific marketing plans that are innovative and effective in the real estate industry.  

She is the Chairperson of the Greenwich Historic Society’s Landmark Recognition Program, which recognizes homes and structures of significant architectural distinction, a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce and Trinity Church.  Ms. Kencel also supports the Bruce Museum, Kids in Crisis, the Boys and Girls Club, The Round Hill Association and numerous other philanthropic organizations.
