In the last four years I have bought three condos in Bonnymede/Montecito Shores with Pam Taylor. I can't imagine having another realtor in Santa Barbara and highly recommend her. She has an excellent eye for seeing undervalued units and knowing how they can be improved. She has terrific contacts with reasonably priced contractors who do great work too. She isn't just a normal realtor, she does detailed research in titles and deeds when appropriate and knows the permit system better than anyone. A client came to me a few years ago with contradicting specifications for their retirement home as they sought to exchange the harsh winters of the Midwest for the sunny climate of Santa Barbara. There were a couple with two hearts. The professorial husband wish was for a reclusive lair while his warm, upbeat wife wanted an open space. Where was I going to find a tree house and a cave in one? 

I’ve been a real estate professional in Santa Barbara for many years, long enough to know that I still love matching people to the places that they can call home, no matter how seemingly impossible the requirements.

So, is there such a thing as a treehouse/cave in Santa Barbara? You bet. And I’m very happy to report…….I found them the perfect home and they lived there happily for many years before moving to a retirement community.
