It was apparent in my first meeting in person with him in his office in July, that Mr. Karras had the genuine interest, expertise and tools to successfully market the property which I was to list with him for sale. Through questioning and my interaction with Mr. Karras, I was able to determine his deep knowledge about the community which he serves. His persona and responsive nature allow him to effectively connect with first-time home buyers, empty nesters, military personnel as well as agents representing other clients. Despite not being a local resident, Mr. Karras helped me tremendously by providing suggestions on how to prepare the home for showing and sale. Up through the point of successful closing, Mr. Karras, maintained regular communication with me, and followed up by ensuring that the property was maintained regularly. About David

As an Army combat veteran, and former Air Force dependent who has been reassigned 15 times, I know first hand the stresses of buying and selling homes as well as relocating, and as the San Antonio Baord of REALTORs 2021 Broker of the Year, I leverage this experience to help my clients through their home buying and selling experience.

I have been involved in real estate in some fashion since 2009, from property management to managing public housing and the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program for 3 years. My experiences help give me an edge to help clients find items that may present an issue, saving them time and money.

I also am quite active in the local communities with which I served in and now reside. I have been a volunteer firefighter in Delaware and New York and currently volunteer as a firefighter here in the great state of Texas. Other volunteer activities include homeless shelters, San Antonio and Alaska Habitat for Humanity, Domestic Violence Shelter, mentoring 16 children at an at risk school, San Antonio Parks and Recreation, President of the Eielson AFB Enlisted Spouse Club, and more. As a committed community member, I have various programs established that give back to our charitable organizations, as well as a Community Heroes Program aimed at reducing closing costs for First Responder's, Military Veterans, and Teachers.

My civilian education includes an Associates of Arts from Pikes Peak Community College, two Bachelors of Science from Colorado State University, and a Masters of Arts from Colorado State University.

As a military spouse I have relocated to Eielson AFB, AK and Randolph AFB.
