We’ve all heard that knowledge is power, but in realityknowledge is only power if it is used. And if knowledge is put to use in helping people make informed decisionsabout real estate, one of the most important financial decisions they willundertake, then it’s a very good thing.
Knowledge, empathy, hard work and genuine caring for peopleand their welfare have served me well in my real estate career, and thesetraits have allowed me to help hundreds of families and individuals with theirreal estate purchases since 1983. I havebeen able to maintain a great relationship with the majority of these clients, consider many of them friends and am proud to be the Realtor of choice fortheir repeat business and their referrals of family members and friends.
My concentration is in residential real estate – homes, lots, land, townhomes, condominiums and multi-family residences. I have worked with numerous companies andindividuals moving to Austin over the years. They have for the most part bought homes near their work place. I’m proud to say that most of these pastclients call on me to sell these homes when their needs change, and itnecessitates that I work a large area. My service area basically is from Georgetown to Kyle and from DrippingSprings/Wimberley to Manor/Elgin/Taylor/Florence. Because of pressure from clients to help themwith their needs in the Highland Lakes area, I now also service the lakes, andin addition to my Austin Board of Realtors affiliation, I am now a member ofthe Highland Lakes Association of Realtors.
After a career in the newspaper business with stints inAbilene, Austin, Cleveland, TN, Auburn, AL, Natchez, MS and Houston, MS, Imoved back to Austin to begin my real estate career in 1983, beginning withNash Phillips/Copus Homebuilders. I havelearned a lot from each real estate company association
While the vast majority of my business comes from referrals,I welcome new clients who will most likely become friends and advocates aswell.
