Marc was our agent in the purchase of a condo downtown, and also was our agent for the sale of our house. Marc listened carefully to our needs and helped make both deals happen quickly. Marc's market research helped us determine the right price for our home and we were able to sell it in just a few days. He even oversaw some repairs that the buyer requested while we were away on vacation. We highly recommend working with Marc.

Bert & Tina Haskell

As first-time home buyers, my wife and I were very intimidated by the prospect of having to not only locate a house but also navigate a very complicated process by ourselves. Luckily for us, we contacted Marc Warshawsky early in the process as he provided invaluable guidance in finding and successfully purchasing our first home. Marc's greatest assets as a realtor are not found only in what he does, but how he does it - the right way. He worked tirelessly, with great patience, and never pressured us as we searched, offered, and eventually bought a house. He never lost touch with us throughout the whole process, and even took the extra steps to help us locate contractors to work on our house after the contract was completed and accepted. Add on his depth of knowledge about the market and house buying in general, and you've got yourself a realtor that we would recommend to any home buyer - first-time and seasoned homeowners alike. Thank you so much for your help, Marc

About Marc

My wife and I relocated to the Breckenridge area in the mountains of Summit County, Colorado from Austin, Texas where we lived for many years. Moving to the mountains full time was a dream come true. Before making the move, we owned several investment properties in Summit County and vacationed often; hiking, biking, skiing, and imagining the day when we could be in the mountains full time. A few years ago that day finally arrived and our mantra became: Let’s Just Do It, Let’s BE IN THE MOUNTAINS!

With that in mind, I moved my successful real estate business from Austin where I had been practicing for many years, to Summit County, Colorado and created our Be In The Mountains real estate business. My greatest desire is to help you realize your mountain dreams, whether it’s to be in the mountains full time, part-time, or simply to reap the benefits of investing in one of the most dynamic real estate markets anywhere.

Before getting into real estate, I spent many years in the computer industry as a senior marketing executive where I developed and launched products, negotiated business deals, performed detailed market analyses, traveled extensively internationally and ran several multi-million dollar businesses. This enabled me to develop a unique set of skills and experience necessary to build a successful career in real estate.

The computer industry was great fun, but once I made the move to real estate, I found another industry to love and quickly became successful in the Austin market where I worked both as a real estate agent and manager of over 100 hard-working agents. As in most endeavors, you learn from experience, and trust me – managing over 100 agents greatly accelerated the learning curve!

Fast forward to the present where after 20 wonderful years in Austin my wife and I made the move to the Breckenridge area for the lifestyle and because, well being in the mountains is quite simply amazing – we absolutely love it. If you are reading this, you probably do as well. Whether your goals are to be in the mountains full time or part-time we can help make your dreams come true!

Over the years, my clients have valued and relied on me as a trusted, knowledgeable, and experienced real estate professional who can answer most of your questions – and knows where to get answers for those he cannot. My wife Rebecca is my partner in life and provides administrative support to the business. As a philosophy, I embrace certain core values and principles including win-win or no deal, do the right thing, and customers always come first. Understanding that buying or selling real estate can be an emotional and stressful experience, my goal is to help make the experience as smooth, enjoyable, stress-free and successful as possible.

As an aspiring jazz musician, I did undergraduate work at NYU in music, Miles Davis being my hero. I have a BSEE from Columbia University and a Masters Degree in Acoustics from Penn State. My wife Rebecca has a BA from Wyoming University and a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard.

We have been happily married for over 30 years. We have 4 kids and a bunch of grandkids – all happy, healthy and doing great. We both enjoy a healthy lifestyle including hiking, biking, skiing, exploring in the mountains, music, reading good books, wine, and great food. Life is good, especially in the mountains!
