Mike is a very competent, knowledgeable and pro active realtor. He actually found our dream home for us. We were not able to fly to Hawaii immediately so he went to the house and sent us 4 detailed videos totaling over 30 minutes of tour time and fully described the home as he went through it. We put an offer on the house, sight-unseen, and couldn't be happier. The closing process was incredibly long because of the STVR process. But through the months it took to get approval, Mike kept us tuned in to everything happening so we were never in the dark. When I was considering a job on the Hawaiian Island, Mike was recommended by a friend as the realtor who was super knowledgeable and one we could trust. Mike called me to understand what we were looking for and provided location options to consider. While on the mainland, Mike worked with us and even took videos (virtual showings) for us so we could easily view on YouTube. Since we were not from Hawaii, he helped us navigate and select our lender to get us prequalified. When we selected the home, Mike provided us with comps, and property information in order for us to submit a competitive offer. After the offer was excepted he walked us through the entire sales process. He’s a great resource even after our closing and continues to be a resource on everything the Big Island has to offer. My Philosophy
I believe that a successful agent must work to provide their client with all of the information needed to make a sound decision. With that in mind, I strive to navigate my clients through all of the nuances of the Hawaii real estate market, with a focus on my clients long term goals.
I have found nothing as rewarding as working with someone to find their perfect property, or perfect buyer. For some people it's a first time home purchase. For others, buying in Hawaii is a realization of a life long goal. And for some, selling real estate in Hawaii will help earn a profit on a sale. Each client is unique and that makes each transaction unique. I'd like to put my passion to work for you.
For my personal business, my philosophy is simple; focus on providing the highest level of service possible while maintaining an ethical approach, and everything else will fall into place. I don't have to focus on short term goals, or commissions. With this I have built and I continue to expand a strong referral base and clients for life who have worked with me multiple times.

In my free time
Living on the Big Island has been more exciting and rewarding than I ever expected. My wife and I love to enjoy all that the island has to offer. We're both athletic, and we love hiking, biking, swimming (me), running (her), and socializing! This path of athletics even led me to do something I never thought possible by being a finisher at the 2013 Ironman World Championships here in Kona. I've also caught the shutterbug, and love taking photos. I've been known to send larger prints to my buyers as a welcome to Hawaii gift!
