What do Clients Say?

Brian McGowan is without a doubt The Carolina’s best realtor. Trust me, after three previous “realtors” failed attempts to find a home for my family, I recognize the gem Brian truly is. ?? Savy and Smart ~ if you are a numbers person … Brian set records in two of the largest subdivisions in Fort Mill SC. Highest $$$ per sq foot as well as, highest % above asking price (+15%). It’s no doubt that he was recognized by the highest producing Keller Williams firm in the country as a multi million dollar producer. Those numbers speak for themselves, but to paraphrase, Brian is informed, knows his client, the market, and can read the sellers/buyers and with his intuition will without a doubt get you the best $$ for your dollar. Luckily I worked with Brian before the interest rates started climbing . I would imagine those looking to sell a home right now are concerned with how a realtor would market the home to sell. Brian was an asset in that his heavily markets and advertises with Google, Facebook, next-door, and Instagram. I received so much exposure on the home I sold which equated to a higher selling price. In fact my home set Brian’s new record for most showings scheduled. We had over 100 showings in three days and 23 offers. I can assure you, what you get with Brian you won’t find with another realtor. From the first phone call I assure you, you will be impressed. Brian is attentive to every detail, and goes out of his way to make sure you as the seller or buyer are protected. Example ~ when I was living out of state and had not yet moved to the Carolina’s ~ the seller of the home I purchased decided to stop caring for and watering the lawn. Brian took time to gather his personal hoses and sprinkler heads and rigged an irrigation system for my front and backyard even setting it on timers so that when I moved into my home, the grass wasn’t dead in the southern August heat. This second time I worked with Brian the house I purchased needed extensive work. Brian went out of his way and met contractors and inspectors for us if our time didn’t allow us to be at each appointment. I teasingly told Brian in March that I simply wanted a home by Mother’s day ~ it was a miracle but that’s exactly what he did ~ found our dream home with a purchase prior to Mother’s day and even managed to move the close date up for us! Not only is Brian a good realtor, he is a exemplary role model as well. Brian took the time to teach and explain the buying process to our teenager as we purchased the home. What a wonderful and unexpected life lesson. In fact, it left such a impression on him that now my teen wants to dress like Brian in his signature polo and khakis. In summary, if you work with Brian, not only will you be working with arguably the best realtor in the Carolina’s, you will ensure you have a forever friend and role model for your young family.

Zillow

Brian has been a Realtor for my family and I for our last three home purchases. With today’s dynamic housing market, Brian was excellent at knowing how to negotiate the deal and use all available options in landing us our dream home. His experience, professionalism, and knowledge of the job is something I’ve never seen. I can’t not recommend Brian enough. His likability and easy to work with attitude truly made it a less stressful experience. I will always recommend Brian to anyone interested with the utmost confidence

We couldn't ask for a better real estate agent. Brian is responsive, professional, and a pro at negotiating! He helped us sell for much higher than we imagined we could and was able to secure an excellent buyer for us within just a few days of listing. We have used him in the past to purchase property as well and he helped us find the perfect property at an amazing price. I will absolutely use him again and I recommend that you do as well.

Highly professional and down to earth personable, I highly recommend Brian for your real estate needs. He went above and beyond the call of duty. From the beginning he was attentive to what we were looking for, sent us several options based on our criteria, displayed thorough knowledge of the Charlotte area, showed us houses and provided feedback on each house while being open to our opinion, handled many of the logistics when it came to aspects like making an offer, scheduling inspections and closing while still keeping us in the loop every step of the way. One of the best real estate agents I've had the pleasure of working with.

Brian is an amazing agent and took great care of us throughout the whole house-hunting process from search to sale. He was always willing to look at a property, gave great advice about neighborhoods and potential issues, and even gave suggestions on repairs and local companies. He always made us feel like we were his only client and worked to save us every dollar he could. We have a fantastic house in this crazy market and Brian made finding it easy and fun. If you want an agent who really cares and will listen to help you find what you are looking for (no matter what that might be), Brian is your agent!

About Brian

TOP AGENT MAGAZINE ARTICLE

Brian McGowan – Keller Williams' Beacon Realty Group in Charlotte, North Carolina – has earned his reputation as a trustworthy and consummately professional real estate advisor. Brian's dedication to doing what is best for his clients, regardless of how it might affect his bottom line, has set him apart from much of his competition and resulted in a solid base of customers who consistently refer their friends and family to him.

Brian began his journey in the world of real estate in 2005, when he purchased his first rental property. "Over time, I accumulated a couple more rentals, and did some flips." His experiences working with a landlord opened his eyes to how poorly some tenants were treated, and – certain that he could do better – he opened his own property management company in South Carolina in 2010.

Brian believes in being completely upfront with his customers." This commitment to honesty is with his clients and potential clients, and he has been known on occasion to discourage them from either buying or selling when he truly believes it would not be to their benefit. "I think that being someone they can trust to give them an honest opinion is really important," he muses, "and that's probably why I get so many referrals and have retained so many clients over the years."

More than sixty percent of Brian's business is based upon those referrals, an impressive accomplishment that is solid evidence of the exceptional client experience he is providing. When asked to account for this high level of loyalty, Brian grows thoughtful for moment before replying. "I think it's about my being less of a salesperson and more of a friend to my clients," he says. "I stay in touch with all of my past clients throughout the year, whether it's just reaching out to see how they're doing in their new home, or to see if there is anything I can help with. Most of the time when I reach out, there's no opportunity for me to make any money from doing so, it's just to help them make their home and their lives better."

Even Brian's approach to marketing his listings is based in integrity. "I am very honest and realistic with my clients as to what their home will sell for," he says, again pointing to the fact that he has discouraged some clients from selling their homes when he believed it would it would not be advantageous.
