As an avid golf and hockey enthusiast I bought my first home in the mountains just west of denver with a plan to build a hockey rink in my front yard. Southwest exposure in Colorado is not ideal for hockey rinks, and is the exact reason all ski resorts are built on North and East facing side of the mountain. Much colder over there. However anyone buying in this great state will do themselves a favor and by a home with a SW expsoure for their driveway.

I took my love of golf to the real estate world by focusing on golf course communities in and around Denver, that grew to writing articles for Colorado Golf magazine and learning about resort golf communities as well. Having published scores of articles and making connections across the state I realized that I may not always be the best agent for the job, but I can damn sure find somebody that will be. 

Several of my peers call me the connector because of relationships I have around the country with other golfin real estate agents.

I also have a passion for helping other agents, and have trained countless agents on becoming niche market specialists. I beleive that to be great at something you need to really focus on a unique facet of that thing and be the best you can possibly be.

Years ago I was trained by a franchise sales director who said "you have to dance to the customers music" I got it, and understood exactly what he meant, but as I spent the next 15-20 years stduying top people in their professions I relaized that the elite will take things to another level. I came up with what I beleive is a much better saying as it relates to real estate (but you can plug in any profession) - "A good agent will dance to their customers music, but a great agent will write the music that attracts the client he wishes to dance with!"
