Some background: I'd just had a potential for-sale-by-owner purchase fall through when I met you. I'd just dropped thousands of dollars on a dead-end, and had nothing to show for it. I was honestly pretty jaded and discouraged about the process. As a first-time homebuyer, I didn't know what to expect or if I was going to be able to navigate what seemed like an incredibly complex financial process. I'd tried one other time to get another realtor to show me some properties in Fredericksburg, but she cancelled on me last minute after I'd come all the way from El Paso to see them.
