What do Clients Say?

Richard and I wanted to formally thank you for your excellent work as we went through thehome purchasing process. I know we were not the easiest clients, especially given the fact thatwe bought our home while we were in Europe. I also know that we would not have beencomfortable making this kind of purchase overseas with any other agent.Your work ethic, attention to detail, meticulous follow through and persistence put my mind atease as we worked through the close.Your knowledge of the greater Austin area and your ability to help us sort through what makeseach area unique was crucial for helping us make the right decision. We never felt any pressureto move in one direction or another, but we certainly appreciated your honest opinions about thebenefits and drawbacks of each area and home.We also appreciated how you listened carefully and patiently as we were trying to decide whatwe wanted and where we wanted to live.Overall we are extremely pleased with our home, our choice of location and how smoothly youmade the stressful process of purchasing a home feel. We will definitely be recommending youto friends, colleagues and family going forward – so look for some business from us!

My wife and I spent close to two years looking for a home in Austin prior to hiring Liz Newell as our agent. With the help of Liz’s commanding market knowledge, we were able to quickly narrow our search and ultimately found a home prior to its MLS at a price that we knew was below market. It was after execution of the contract, however, that Liz truly shined. Liz’s long standing relationships with pool, home, and septic system inspectors familiar with the neighborhood resulted in identification and quantification of every potential issue, and her negotiating skills ultimately resulted in a generous concession by the seller. Liz is an incredible person and a true professional, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a home in the Austin area.

It is hard to believe that Liz Newell has been in the real estate business for almost 25 years because she has the energy and commitment of a newbie going after her first sale... that is, until she handles the transaction with the skill and aplomb that only comes with being a seasoned veteran. Liz was our agent on two home purchases and she made them enjoyable and easy to navigate. Liz knows the right people to call for every service and expects and therefore gets the best from each plumber, contractor, inspector, etc. Liz is always accessible, tuned-in, and patient with her clients. Even months and years after the sale, she is always ready to offer her time and advice. I can't imagine going through the real estate process with a better agent.

Liz represented us as both a buyer and a seller’s agent. Liz not only listened to what we wanted/needed in a new house but also helped us think about what would be important to our family as our children our children grew up and went from elementary school to high school. Liz did an excellent job of only showing us houses that met most if not all of our wants and needs. As we looked at houses and she got more feedback, Liz continued to refine what was most important for us in a new home. In the end Liz found a wonderful house that has been perfect for our family. Liz continued to give us excellent guidance from making an offer through closing. We were very worried about having to pay two mortgages waiting for our old house to sell. Liz gave us excellent advice on what we would need to do to sell our old house quickly. Liz’s advice was practical and cost effective. We acted on Liz’s recommendations with the result that the old house got lots of attention and sold fast. Following her guidance meant we never had to make two mortgage payments! We have recommended Liz to family, friends and business associates. Everyone who has used Liz, has thanked us for recommending her.

Liz has got to be, hands down, the best Realtor in the country. We have bought and sold a number of houses and never have we had such amazing service as we have with Liz. Buying a home, especially from a distance, is never easy, but Liz made it painless. She spent an entire day with us just to help us get to know the neighborhoods. She was always available and responsive. And she got us…it didn’t take her long to understand what we wanted (even when we didn’t know what we wanted!). And once we were under contract her and Katie were an amazing support helping us get done everything we needed from a long way away. Liz sets a new standard for Realtors and now that she has spoiled us, we wouldn’t work with anyone else.
