I wanted to write and tell you about our experience selling and buying our home. I had heard about you on the radio for several years. Through the radio communication they said you specialized in the selling and buying at the same time. I did not know at this time that you were the top selling agent. On our anniversary we decided to come and speak with you about selling our home and we were looking for a home in the valley for more privacy and not to far of a commute. When you came and looked at my home it was by no means ready. You, however looked past that and told what I would need to do to get it show ready. You and your staff helped us through every process for getting our home ready to sell. It was very difficult to get ready on time to list our home so we could hopefully sell by June 1st like we requested. I was so glad you were able to show us what similar home in our area with the same type of home were selling for. We did everything you said and more. You told us your opinion for what we should list it for, however I believed it would sell for more since we had done everything you said and much more to get the most for our home as we could. The Walden team was always available to answer all of our questions. They never quit when we ran into a problem with zoning that we did not know about. All of you went above and beyond to get this corrected in a timely fashion so it did not affect our selling date. The whole team was there for us through all of the steps. You gave us names of businesses that would give us great deals for painting, carpet, tile, etc. It saved us a lot of money. We sold our home for much more that we thought we would before we came to you. You left everything open for us to make our own decisions and respected them even if you did not quite agree. We had never sold a home before and had no idea all the steps it takes to do it right. People wanting to sell their homes themselves to save money probably also have no idea what it takes to get the most out of your home for sale. Of course during all this preparation to sell we were also wanting to buy. Your client coordinator showed us many homes in Wasilla as we had requested. After seeing several homes, we decided we did not want to live in Wasilla since we were unable to find the privacy we were looking for in a good neighborhood. We ventured further out to Willow. Our client coordinator was always available to show us places at a moment’s notice. We found the home of our dreams. I would not look at any other homes after seeing this one. But of course we also demanded that we did not want a mortgage, we wanted to pay for it in full at the time of the sale. Due to the entire Dar Walden team working to help us we were able to sell our home for the right price and buy our new home and have no mortgage. We cannot thank all of you enough for making us feel like your most important client and listening to our wants, needs and desires, and working hard to help us achieve our goals.
