What do Clients Say?

"We interviewed at least six real estate agents with a good track record for selling houses in the SW part of Gainesville. When we met Betsy Pepine we knew we had the right agent. She was professional, knowledgeable about Cambridge Forest and surrounding areas, and understood well what it took to move a property in the current housing market. Her marketing was also second to none. Needless to say, she sold our house in about one month. Thank you Betsy!"

Bjorn Birgison

"I am so thankful that my husband and I chose to use Betsy as our agent when purchasing our home. Since I am a designer and architectural historian, the right home had to meet some challenging and specific criteria. She quickly found our dream home, but we realized we weren't the only buyers interested in the house. While I was distraught by the possibility of not getting the house, Betsy calmed our fears and kept us informed at every step. Betsy strategically developed an offer that put us ahead of the other buyers. When she called to tell us we got the house, I couldn't have been happier."

Jenn Garrett

"Betsy was terrific! She was always eager to go the extra mile and never tried to talk me into something I had no interest in. She was also very efficient with time use....which is real important to many of us. And Betsy was always upbeat, smiling, friendly....in what is always a stressful time for house hunters. She deserves many applauds....and I have recommended her to several people I have come in contact with."

Dr. Dianne Busch

"Betsy not only helped us find the perfect home, but also helped in our transition from North Carolina to Gainesville, Florida. She provided information about the schools, community services, and recreational activities. Betsy took the time to find out our interests and planned accordingly. We felt we had a friend in addition to a realtor. We hope to continue working with her for any future real estate needs."

Dr. Scott and Shirley Denardo

"I moved to Gainesville from out of state which can be a daunting process but Betsy made it seem like I was moving down the street. She handled every detail with a professional and friendly attitude. When I get ready to buy or sell again I will be calling Betsy and I recommend that everyone else do the same."

About Betsy

Betsy moved to Gainesville in 1974. After graduating from Buchholz High School, she left Gainesville to pursue a business education at Duke University and a MBA in marketing from The Wharton School of Business. After a twelve year career in pharmaceutical marketing research and consulting, she returned to her hometown Gainesville and pursued her interest in real estate. Having been a real estate investor for years, she turned her passion into a career by becoming a full-time Realtor. Betsy soon became a broker, opened Pepine Realty in 2010 and began building a robust real estate team, helping families and businesses with their relocation, second-home purchases, primary residences and office spaces. Her team stays very active in the community, volunteering regularly in the communities that have supported them. In 2017, Betsy opened Gator Title and in 2018, Betsy established Pepine Gives, a 501c3 non-profit foundation whose mission is to improve and empower the lives of the undeserved in her community.

Personally, Betsy is an active volunteer in the community, earning her the Impact Award in 2016 by Business in the Heart of Gainesville. Betsy has served on numerous boards and has been active teaching Gainesville's youth at church, assisting with homelessness in the community, is a board member of Alachua Habitat for Humanity and has raised several guide dogs for the blind. In her free time, she enjoys real estate investing, running, pickleball and traveling. Most importantly, Betsy has two daughters and several rescue dogs with whom she devotes significant time.
