The Shipman family has resided in the Lake Tahoe Basin since 1987

Thank you for taking a moment to consider the advantages of our working together. Given that I am licensed to sell real estate in California and Nevada, we will take into consideration influential factors that are unique to the real estate market of the Tahoe Basin in its entirety. The four areas in which I work most often are Tahoe’s North Shore (Incline Village, Kings Beach, Agate Bay), West Shore (TahoeCity, Homewood, Meeks Bay) and our nearby ski communities (Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar) and the East Shore (Glenbrook, Zephyr Cove.) In addition to my professional experience, I have had family live and work throughout Lake Tahoe for a couple of generations. Through them I have come to know and love it well.

From 1998-2003 I volunteered as a Certified Adaptive Ski Instructor at the Tahoe Adaptive Ski School at Alpine Meadows Ski Area.  Through teaching adaptive skiing I have developed an eye for properties that areparticularly accessible and comfortable for families with special needs.

Prior to resuming my real estate career in Lake Tahoe in 1999 I practiced as a Financial Advisor specializing in Tax Advantaged Investments in Los Angeles, CA. I choose to learn about the real estate business from behind the scenes as an assistant to a top producing Real Estate Team in Walnut Creek CA in the early 1990s. 

In 1989 I graduated from UC Berkeley. In 1984 I studied as a foreign Exchange Student in Espirito Santo, Brazil and therefore can communicatein Portuguese du Brasil once warmed-up. I first paid close attention tothe real estate market through my father's example in Laguna Beach CA where he was a Real Estate Broker in the 1980s. I started life in Paris,France and cherish the times I have had the opportunity to revisit the City of Light.
