Julie sold my house for me at Kapaa. I had met Julie years previously by way of a strong recommendation of one of my real estate partners in Kilauea. After some unsuccessful attempts to sell the property myself and with two other brokers, I decided to get serious about selling. Julie gave me an honest and accurate opinion of value. After the first three prospective buyers rejected my hard-nosed counter offers Julie brought me a fourth offer with the assurance that the buyers were prequalified and that the transaction would proceed smoothly. I decided to leave it in her hands and trust she was correct. The sale closed before the date scheduled in the offer. About Julie

Julie A. Black is the Principal Broker and owner of Kauai Dreams Realty. A resident of Kauai since 1976, she has more than 34 years of licensed real estate experience. Ms. Black's extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and island community, enable her to provide exceptional value to her clients. 

Julie maintains an active presence in her community and on the Kauai Board of Realtors (KBR). She currently serves as Chair of the KBR Grievance Committee. She subsequently served as the 2007 KBR Vice President; KBR Chair; KBR Education Chair for the Education Planning committee; past Chairperson of the Grievance Committee; and  a past member of the Board of Directors. She was also the past Finance Committee Chair of St. Catherine's Church and Parish. Current St. Catherine School Board President & County Board of Review Chairperson for 2018, member since 2014.

In 2001, Julie was designated a Certified Residential Specialist, in recognition of her professional accomplishments in both experience and education. The CRS designation is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field and comprises just 4 percent of all REALTORS®.
