I would highly recommend Heidi Robinson for real estate needs in Santa Cruz county. My husband and I both work at home and so needed work space and well as living space. That along with wanting to live in Felton and having a limiting price point made finding a place for us a challenge. When we first sat down to talk about our parameters, Heidi was quick to pick up on our needs and wants. She told us it would be possible to get a property at our price point, but that finding one with the space layout we needed would be a challenge. However, she thought that with persistence, it could be done. She set us up with a search tool of the MLS that showed us the properties that met our parameters as soon as they came on the market. She had us do drive-bys and go to open houses, and personally showed us places that looked like good possibilities. We made offers on three properties that we did not end up buying, but it was all good training for getting the property that we eventually did purchase.Over the whole process, having a person to help us who was professional, straight-forwardly honest, encouraging and pleasant to work with was a big boost. We could not have asked for a better experience with a realtor. She has years of experience doing this, and knows all the ins and outs. She counseled us on how to get an offer accepted. When we were in escrow, she took care of a myriad of necessary details. Now we have a delightful place to live and work!In sum, Heidi Robinson’s service as a realtor is truly exemplary. I highly recommend Heidi Robinson as realtor. I have worked with other realtors, and although they were competent, Heidi was without doubt the best. I recommend her for three basic reasons: 1) she knows the market, 2) she has mastery of the complicated 'nuts and bolts' of the ENTIRE purchase process, from loan brokerage, to qualification. escrow, inspections, you name it, and most important, 3) she is able to quickly understand what her clients want, and then find that kind of property. I was really impressed at how fast Heidi understood my pretty picky mix of wants and don't wants--combined with a demanding price point. It's like she had ESP; in a very short time, I think we made two tours of properties, she was able to 'home in' (pun intended) on the house I wanted, in the area I wanted, the type of situation (privacy) I wanted...and the price I wanted. She guided, she shepherded me through the purchase process, she 'held my hand' and calmed me when I got frustrated, and I am 100% sure that without her help I never would have found this house, or if, by some miracle, I had found it, the deal would have fallen through. The purchase process is complex, and it can break down or be delayed at many points--and then you lose the house you want, you lose time and you end up paying more. California is a competitive market and not acting quickly enough or in the right sequence, a matter of a day, can cost you. That's why I'm so convinced that having Heidi on my side was the key in making my house purchase fast, painless, successful and profitable. Now I have my home, I'm delighted with it, and Heidi got me such a good deal that I've already seen equity growth--within one year.
