About Catherine

After growing up in Europe and traveling the globe from Australia to Africa and the Pacific to the Far East, I finally settled with my dive buddy in the United States. In the past ten years, I got to experience many different parts of this beautiful country, until we settled in Houston, Texas and never looked back. The people, the climate, the culture, the economy and the amenities all came together, so we knew: Houston is the place for us!

After graduating with a masters in audiovisal production from the University of Amsterdam and a bachelors in English Language and Literature from the University of Leiden, I decided I wanted to see the world. Besides traveling I worked in information technology, textile imports and yes, even some actual audiovisual production!

When I moved to the States in 2004, I learned about what it meant to realize the American Dream. Within weeks I bought our first home and discovered my passion: real estate. I know how daunting and confusing it can be when you come from a different culture and you have to learn about all these terms and processes, so I decided I wanted to know the process inside and out, so that I can guide my clients through a smooth process from the initial search, to writing a contract and making it to closing, so you can walk away a happy home owner.

By understanding and experiencing different cultures, my analytical skills from my masters degree, and my diverse background, I am the person you need to market your home.
