About Susan
Susan brings a rich and diverse history of comprehensive real estate brokerage, marketing, branding and consulting services of more than 40 years. Her clients range from individuals and small businesses to multi-billion dollar international conglomerates. She has been a top tier agent at Brown Harris Stevens, year after year.
Susan is currently serving as a Delegate and advisor on Real Estate Issues to the United Nations Social and Economic Council for FIABCI, The International Federation of Real Estate.
She joined Brown Harris Stevens in 1996 with the merger of Jean-Marc LEVET & Partners, the Paris-New York real estate company of which she was a principal and managing partner.
Susan has earned many distinctions in the Real estate industry, World President of FIABCI , the International Real Estate Federation 2022-2023. FIABCI is a business network of real estate professionals worldwide. Sharing knowledge, gaining information and conducting international business with members in 70 countries.
In 2015 she also earned the distinction of "Christies International Real Estate Luxury Specialist". Susan has also served the National Association of Realtors as a member of the CIPS faculty teaching the CIPS, designation in many locations, both domestically and internationally. She has been an active member of the Global Business and Alliance Comittee of NAR, served as Chairman of the committee in 1996 and served as NAR's Presidents Liaison to The Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, and Russia.
Her first job in real estate was with a major national real estate company in New Jersey, where she was ranked nationally in the top 3%. In 1980, she joined Merrill Lynch as Director of Marketing, later becoming Vice President of Domestic and International Sales and Marketing. She was instrumental in creating the firm's international cross referral sales network linking overseas Private Clients brokerage offices of Merrill LYNCH with the domestic offices of Merrill Lynch Realty. Her strong marketing and high net worth luxury branding skills underscored by her accede mic creative background were the foundation of her development of some very successful marketing strategies for the company. She created, developed and published Merrill Lynch's Fine Homes Magazine.
During her tenure at Merrill Lynch Realty, she also was responsible for the National & International sales, marketing, advertising and public relations for 480 wholly owned and operated Merrill Lynch Realty offices across the United States.
