Meet Kathleen Comerford, MBA, Broker Associate and Team Leader of The Comerford Group

It would be fair to say that I’m obsessed with real estate.  Evidence of this obsession started early with the development of elaborate condo projects that I built for my Barbie Dolls.  My communities were pretty swanky with swimming pools, landscaping and irrigation.  But let’s fast forward to where my real estate journey leads me next, all the way to Wharton Business School where I earned my MBA in Finance and Real Estate.  From there, I moved onto an exciting career on Wall Street and enjoyed a decade+ career in real estate development, investment banking, and fund management.  I did IPOs, built and acquired hotel portfolios and raised a $250mm mezz fund for real estate development.  I retired from Wall Street to start a company in NYC with my husband that acquired, redeveloped, and sold under-valued property turned Uber-Luxury, several of which were featured on TV and in prominent magazines.  Finally, after the sale of our last NYC property, we were free to pursue our dream of living the Florida lifestyle which we absolutely love!        

Now, for more than a decade as a Florida real estate broker, I have been delivering my unique real estate services to my residential, luxury, and commercial real estate customers, serving their financial interests and real estate goals at the highest possible level.  And my customers have become dear friends and raving fans!  The results that my team and I deliver have propelled our reputation and status in the industry as one of the most sought-after brokers in our marketplace.

In my downtime, I can be found enjoying our beautiful Florida beaches, golf courses, and boating waterways.  I am Mom to 2 mini-Schnauzers and married to Edward, a 21-year Air Force veteran, engineer and custom home builder.
