If you are looking for a real estate agent in the St. Louis area, we strongly recommend Amy Prusinowski. When we found out that we were moving to the area, I asked friends that lived in St. Louis if they had any recommendations. They emphatically recommended Amy and said they had bought and sold with her and raved about her. Amy impressed us with her information about area, her thoroughness, and feel like we have also gained a new friend here. She really wanted to make sure that we found what we were looking for, that we were ready with financing and had everything in order and also that we were protected with the inspections needed. As we were in another state, she would do video tours, walking us through some homes, pointing out the smallest details that might be a positive or negative. When she was out of town, she still made sure we were taken care of and had a trusted colleague show us around. She also worked well with all agents for homes that we were interested in and made sure our best interests were looked out for. This combination of being detail orientated and able to work collaboratively with other real estate agents helped us avoid what would have been a very expensive replacement of a grinder system. My wife and I had an exceptional experience working with Amy to purchase our new home in St. Louis. We were currently living in DC and only had a very limited amount of time to house shop in person. Amy helped us sift through everything on the market prior to our visit to hone and refine our search to the best houses to view during our limited time. She was very receptive to our needs and wants, but also did a great job helping us set realistic expectations given our budget and her expertise of the local market. Amy juggled her schedule on short notice to accommodate our travel schedule when the perfect house came on the market. She patiently took us to multiple houses to make sure we validated our needs and wants before diving into a making an offer on anything. Though we were at a disadvantage as out-of-town buyers with a contingency on selling our current house, Amy helped us craft an exceptional offer that fit our budget and timelines, but also proved to be attractive to the sellers. Our offer was then accepted the night before the first scheduled open house. It was a huge relief to secure our new home before we even got on our flight back to DC, and we couldn't have done it without Amy's expert guidance! Amy was very professional and helpful throughout inspections, appraisals, financing, etc, including a couple of difficult negotiations with the sellers over inspection items and conveyances. Our closing was on time during a very narrow window given our move schedule and the seller's requirements, and could not have gone more smoothly. Amy was professional, responsive, confident, supportive, and personable throughout the whole process. We couldn't recommend her more highly!
