Amy Prisco is a well-known figure in the Ecuadorian businesscommunity.  By providing an exemplarylevel of service, she has gained the trust of clients of her three companies:Ecuador Realty (formerly Re/Max Pioneer Realty), The Amigo Center, and PioneerTravel.   Her commitment to integrity andtransparency, coupled with her perseverance and skills, have afforded her astellar reputation.

The native New Yorker made the full-time move to Ecuador in 2007 afterhaving traveled solo around the country in 2006. Having settled in the coastaltown of Salinas in 2008, Amy used her real estate experience, financialknowledge, and Spanish language skills to eventually open and manage the firstRe/Max real estate office in Salinas from 2013-2017.

Ecuador Realty provides full-service real estate services including sales,rentals and managment of properties for national and international clients inthe province of Santa Elena with particular focus on Salinas and coastalcommunities along the Ruta del Spondylus. Amy holds a real estate license fromEcuador (# 166-G) and previously from New York State.

Her recognitions while working at Re/Max include: the Executive Clubaward three consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016); first member in Ecuador withthe Luxury Collection affiliation; Top 3 Broker Award for the months of March2016 & 2017, April 2016 & 2017, and May 2016 & 2017. She is alsothe first person in Ecuador with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketingdesignation.

Aside frommanaging multiple private properties, Amy has been the Administrator of severalprestigious condominium buildings in Salinas including both The Alamar and ThePhoenix.  She has her TESOL/TEFL/TEFLcertification and has taught English as a Foreign Language at the EcuadorianNaval Officer University (ESSUNA) in Salinas as well as at La UniversidadPeninsular in Santa Elena (UPSE). Her work experience in New York revolvedaround the financial markets and included tenure at Estabrook CapitalManagement, Inc.  in mid-town Manhattan;Sanders, Smith, Miller & Jordan, Inc. of Tarrytown, NY; and LEXCO WealthManagement, Inc. also of Tarrytown, NY where she was Director of Operations andheld the Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses.

Amy earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Financial Management from Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. (1999). She also holds a Masters in Spanish Literature and Linguistics from Middlebury College in Madrid, Spain (1994). Her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish is from Siena College in Loudonville, N.Y. where she participated in the International Studies, Foreign Languages and Business Program (1993).

Her contributions to the Ecuadorian community include: Warden for theUSA Consulate General in Guayaquil (2008 to present); member of the RaceCommittee of the Salinas Yacht Club (2008-2012); Secondary Vocal, Board ofDirectors ACBIR: Association of Realtors in the province of Guayas (2013-2014);charter member of the newly-formed Salinas Rotary Club (2016-present); andTreasurer of ACBIRSE, the charter Real Estate Association of Santa Elena(2017).

 

Amy is fluent in English and Spanish and provides services in bothlanguages to her Ecuadorian as well as International clients.
