About Michael

Mike DeRemer has a business management degree from Penn State and a decade of sales experience spanning Washington, D.C., Northern VA, Harrisburg and the East Coast, but he doesn't view himself as a "salesman." He prefers to be thought of as an educator and solution-provider. 

He is passionate about real estate  --both residential and commercial-- but he knows it's not about the sale; it's about the service.  He places his buyer's or seller's needs above all else and prides himself on being open, honest and straightforward.  

Born and raised in the Harrisburg area, Mike enjoys people -- getting to know each client and helping them explore and refine their needs and criteria for success. Mike is thankful for the years he spent in construction material sales, when it comes to advising clients on the anatomy of a home. His contacts and experience with builders, architects and manufacturers only provide him with more tools for his clients to utilize.

In his personal life, his main priority is his wife Lindsay and their two "energetic" sons, Wesley and Kai.  He also is blessed with a large extended family, which is spread out over both the east and west shore, and so Mike has contact with most local areas in our market..  Mike competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu,  plays pick-up sports when he can, and lives for time with his family..
