Akino’s strength is in her compassionate people skills, strong negotiation skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail cultivated in her 20+ years of management positions in the luxury retail industry at LVMH (Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton) in Japan & Hawaii. Before transitioning to real estate, she was the Retail Director for Hawaii at Prada Group, overseeing the 5 stores reporting directly to the CEO in Tokyo.

Akino is bilingual (English & Japanese) and bicultural. She is originally from Los Angeles and graduated from Keio University in Tokyo with a major in Political Science. Her childhood dream was to become an Ambassador, but she decided to focus her efforts on providing her clients with exceptional service in the luxury brand industry instead of politics. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading, volunteering, traveling, and continuous learning.

The former CEO of Louis Vuitton Japan asked her to list his Hawaii residence in November 2019, and she successfully closed it in less than a month.
