 She was the President of the Orlando Regional Realtors Association in 1989-1990 and was twice voted REALTOR OF THE YEAR in 1989 and 1993.              After marrying Tom Schmitt, a national real estate developer, Bobbie sold her real estate company in Orlando and moved to Atlanta where she activated her real estate brokerage license and opened her own interior design firm, SunnerbirdDesign. The design firm has specialized in residential and commercial interiordesign, condominium common area design and decorating, new construction and refurbishment specifications, space planning and decorating. “Real estate and interior design go hand in hand and I can offer my clients years of experiencein both fields. It’s a natural fit”.

          Bobbie has won numerous closed production awards but her most coveted, The Core Values Award - for the advisor who most exemplifies Exclusivity, Competence and Passion and twice REALTOR OF THE YEAR.

She stays on top of all design trends and what’s happening within the real estate community in the Greater Atlanta area and neighboring cities. Bobbie enjoys spending time with her blended family including 10 children and more than 24 grandchildren. The Engel &Volkers international charity, Special Olympics is special as one of her son’s is a diverse athlete of the Special Olympic Games.Bobbie loves to travel, bicycleand golf with her husband and spoil her Maltese puppy, Chanel.
