About Christopher

Chris' experience in the luxury market comes from his years of working and living in Austin. Working in the Terrytown, Westlake Hills, Old Enfield & Clarksville neighborhoods, among others, has taught Chris the importance of the personal touch. It is not necessarily the technical knowledge (which is invaluable) but the personal relationships that have closed the most transactions. Chris has several repeat clients and averages 3 referrals from every existing client.Chris has called Austin home for most of his adult life. After graduating college in New England with degrees in finance and economics, and leaving his beloved home town of NYC he headed south to continue his education and chose to stay in Austin.Chris began investing in real estate as soon as he was able, buying his first house at 22 (he still has it). Several more followed. Soon friends and family were asking for his advice in building their own real estate portfolio. Realizing he knew just enough to be dangerous Chris took real estate classes and became a licensed real estate agent focusing on commercial properties in Texas and throughout the United States. Through out this time he continued to grow his own inventory of residential properties. After a few years of almost constant travel he decided that he was done with commercial real estate. He looked around Austin, interviewed several brokerages and found an incredible mentor who guided him through his first years as a REALTOR. With several years of successful residential real estate behind him, Chris' new brokerage asked him to become a mentor to their new agents, guiding them through their first couple of years that can often make or break a new agent.Chris and his wife of 27 years, Deborah live in the Northwest Hills neighborhood of Austin. With their free time they enjoy the many golf courses in Austin, hiking the miles of trails with their dogs and long Hill Country cruises on their motorcycles with friends and family. They also spend much of their time volunteering and raising money for several causes that are near to their hearts; The Austin Food Pantry, The Austin Disaster Relief Network, HeartGift and, of course, the Austin German Shepherd Dog Rescue Group.
