About Linda

Licensed as a Wisconsin Broker since 1976, while a student at University of Wisconsin. I was managing an apartment building for my rent, when law was passed requiring Owners of more than 250 rental units have a Corporate Broker. My Owner was in his 70's and he didn't want a license. He paid me $20 to get my real estate license and a $20 bonus if I passed the Broker exam. I became his Corporate Broker at 19 years of age. After graduating with a Business & Marketing degree, I attended University of Nebraska-Omaha to gain a Masters in Economics.

My next 25 years were spent managing & developing mixed use, high-rise REIT assets for a publicly traded real estate company. Projects varied from Los Angeles, New York City, London, UK, Minneapolis, Washington, DC, Detroit, Altanta. I've been a licensed corporate Broker in 7 states. When the company was purchased by a shopping center REIT, I was part of the team who divested the high-rise property inventory. I was bought into my pension at age 45.

Too young to retire. Tired of nearly full-time travel, I decided to transfer my skills to residential real estate. Act II has been a fulfilling career. It's allowed me to work in partnership with my son, my brother and his son-in-law. My database is full of names from across the world. Former colleagues, family, fellow volunteers from volunteer Board activities. It's permitted me to seek relocation alliances, help out of town friends locate competent local agents for their needs and work with my local friends and family. It is pure joy to help build or acquire homes that fulfill our Clients needs! The pride of a successful closing on our listings is unmatched. I couldn't ask for a better job!

My husband and I have shown Old English Sheepdogs in Conformation since 1994. We also compete in Herding  and Obedience Trials. I no longer work on Wednesdays, as they are spent with our 6 year old granddaughter, Sydney. We are currently working on a book of "Sydney's Wednesdays". As a multiple cancer survivor, I've learned value each day. It is all we are promised.

I'm an organized, skilled negotiator with decades of corporate experience. I thrive on win/win negotiations. Working with me will provide a professional, savvy experience with no drama. Just results!
