About Susanne

I was born, and spent the first 15 years of my life, in Africa, as my father was stationed there as a doctor for the World Health Organization.  We relocated every few years and I completed my high school education overseas.  I attended Tulane University in New Orleans and spent my Senior year at the Sorbonne in Paris, where I earned degrees in Spanish and French.
After working for multinational corporations in Vienna, Austria for 13 years, I moved to the US in 1998 to pursue a dream to become an independent business owner. In marrying a real estate agent, I discovered a love and fascination for the industry and, when he died unexpectedly, I earned my license to sell land my husband and I had invested in earlier.
After being diagnosed with cancer and going through successful treatment, I decided to sell my flourishing business and return to the corporate world. I joined a global, family-owned business in Orange County, California, where I worked as Director of Operations for nine years.
I earned my Hawaii real estate license in 2013 and decided to leave the corporate world and pursue a full-time career in real estate in 2016.
Growing up around my father's work taugh me compassion, empathy and the satisfaction of putting the needs of others above my own. Having moved so many times over the years has allowed me not only better understand and appreciate all aspects of a real estate transaction and the complexities of a move, but also the value of an excellent experience.
