About Sophia

I am a seasoned veteran (code for old) of the residential real estate industry. Starting my career in 2004, I opened my brokerage in 2016 when clients and family encouraged me to put my financial well-being at risk and take a leap of faith. Having built a business by word of mouth and unreasonable care for my clients, it felt right to devote time and resources to those that supported my professional development. I have not looked back. I treat my clients with integrity and respect how I want to be treated. Getting a client the price and terms they want when they Sell or Buy a home is a big deal, and I enjoy walking through the process with our clients so that they feel good about their decisions.

Flexibility is key - real estate is ever-changing. As a small business owner, I am invested in the success of our clients and the integrity of our efforts. Working independently outside the big-box brokerages allows me to ensure our clients have a personalized experience that can meet their needs with ease and simplicity. I hold several professional designations that contribute to the value that I bring to client services that, include CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute). I have contributed to panels with Inman Connect, the Tampa Bay Business Journal, and am seen as a regular "expert" on BayNews9, a local news affiliate. I am passionate about giving back to Tampa's Arts, education, and local environmental groups.

I grew up in Atlanta, GA, spent summers on Davis Islands on the water, and attended Savannah College of Art & Design (good ole southern gal)- and graduated with degrees in Video and Film with a minor in Art History. After college, I held various creative positions with CNN, MTV, Art Galleries, and Design Firms, with a foundation in marketing and self-promotion. I have lived my best life in Tampa full-time since 1999, with family roots dating to 1941. I have one inspiring daughter and pup Rolo (our lab-mix sweetheart). I enjoy wellness retreats, outdoor activities, and creating incredible memories with friends and family.
