Norm, I realize that Janet had already written a thank you note, but thought a letter of recommendation was in order as well. Please feel free to use this with potential clients who would like a reference. Selling a home can be a daunting task, and selecting the correct real estate agent is challenging. I should know, as I have had to do this five times over the last 30 years. My sister happens to own a real estate firm, unfortunately she is hundreds of miles away, and does not service our area. About Norman

I would like to take a moment to share a little about myself and why you might consider working with me as your real estate agent.

To begin, I have lived in the Maryland Chesapeake Bay Area nearly all my life. My father, an Air Force officer, moved our family from California to Maryland when I was just 10 years old. I have been here ever since. My wife, Peggy, was born in Annapolis. Our two sons, their wives, and our four grandchildren all live in the area.

I have an entrepreneurial spirit. I have created and owned numerous businesses ranging from insurance and financial services to designing and building custom homes. I have built homes in Annapolis, Edgewater, Davidsonville, and on the Eastern Shore.

I’ve held numerous professional licenses, but am most proud of my Associate Broker license. Only 1 in 10 Maryland real estate agents have obtained this level of licensure. I also hold the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation (CLHMS) and am a Member of the Million Dollar Guild. I have been my company’s #1 agent six of the last eight years and have been ranked in the “Top 150” by Chesapeake Real Producers Magazine. In other words, I work hard for my clients.

Prior to my real estate career I founded American Business Systems Inc, a payroll and employee benefits firm. ABSI was processing payroll and providing benefits for nearly 400 businesses and their 22,000 employees when I sold the company in 2002.

I have also served on the Board of Directors of my local Chamber of Commerce. As the chair of the Membership Committee I was responsible for a membership of nearly 1,200 businesses.
