About Laura

I joined the Coldwell Banker Upchurch Realty team as an Associate Broker and licensed REALTOR® in residential properties. I am an Athens local who graduated from Cedar Shoals High School before receiving my degree in Consumer Economics at the University of Georgia. I attended Paralegal school in Atlanta and worked as a paralegal before establishing myself as a successful real estate professional and have been building my business for over 20 years in the Athens area. I bring that expertise and experience with me to the benefit of the CBUR team.
I have earned many awards and memberships throughout my real estate career. I am a lifetime member of AAAR's Circle of Achievement, have my designation from the Georgia Realtor's Institute, and I am an Accredited Buyer's Representative. In my free time I enjoy playing tennis, traveling with my family, volunteering at Prince Avenue School, and running half marathons. I am also a member of The Heritage Garden Club of Georgia and the First United Methodist Church.
I look forward to providing one on one client experience and helping people make informed decisions. I really enjoy helping clients understand the process of buying a home and making a decision about one of their largest financial investments.
