I lived in Phoenix Arizona and needed to find a home in Melbourne Florida. Not knowing any realtor there, I decided to take a look online for space coast agents. Kellie Bowling's name popped up quick so I gave her a call hoping to just find out what the housing situation was all about in that area. Instead, I received a complete education as to what was available, what areas are best for what situation, pricing, job markets, flood zones, hurricane intensities, traffic, zoning, construction techniques, possible issues with older homes such as failing cast iron drains under the slab, cloth covered wiring, faulty plastic plumbing, obsolete electric breaker panels, septic tank and leach field problems and updated codes related to them and the issues surrounding some "flipper" homes. Kellie's depth of knowledge regarding all things real estate is astounding. Needless to say, I decided to use her for my pursuit of a home in Melbourne. I booked a flight and met with her at a property that I had found online with her help previous to leaving AZ. Another pleasant surprise was the fact that Kellie shows up as planned, not leaving you hanging and wasting your time. She arrives armed with all the pertinent data, facts and figures needed to consider the listing. She takes the time to discuss any questions that you have and offers many suggestions to improve the chances of finding what you want. Everything is important to Kellie, and this is clearly demonstrated by her sense of urgency. Every time we had a question, she would respond within actual minutes, not hours or days, but minutes! This is unheard of, especially in the South. After looking at many properties over a two week period, we decided on an older one that needed work. Her suggestions regarding inspections made everything very transparent and allowed us to go in knowing what to expect. The closing was set up, moved quickly and without issue. After the sale an unexpected and very disturbing problem arose. One email to Kellie and it was on its way to being resolved. The problem was, that some internet based sites decided to list the property that we paid for and closed on, on an auction list! Kellie, with a past that includes working in the legal profession, knew who to call, what to say and ultimately how to solve the problem. Needless to say, this was a huge relief. Another issue came to light after the sale, regarding the survey and property lines. Kellie looked into it, talked to the right people and is educating and assisting us with the solution. Did I mention that she is just plain nice to work with? If you want the whole package, an agent that will work with you and be on your side throughout the whole crazy process of finding and purchasing a property, Kellie' s professionalism, sense of urgency, relaxed personality and knowledge base puts her in a league of her own.

We were looking to buy a home in an area 2 hours away from where we lived, an area we knew nothing about. We figured the first step should be to find a realtor with knowledge in the area.
