My husband and I were looking for a second home in Sister Bay where we have vacationed as a family for the past 30 years. We worked with Annie Sadler who took the time to get to know us, our children, our interests and the must-haves in a Door County home. She has a keen knowledge of the Peninsula and of property costs and values. We saw many properties with her over the course of a few months, as we returned to Chicago and our primary home. Annie continued to look for properties that met our needs, budget and taste and forwarded them to us to review. We made a special trip up in October to really look at a few houses, some for the first time and some for a second time. Annie did her homework and provided all of the listing materials and historical info on the properties, as well as comps. We put in an offer in mid-October that was accepted and then Annie really got to work for us! She helped up navigate the contract, make needed revisions and put our best offer forward. There were a few hiccups with the home inspection and Annie was completely professional describing them to the sellers and ensuring that all of the identified problems were fully resolved. We also had an issue with an easement that did not show on the original survey, and again, worked professionally to have the easement identified and recorded to the satisfaction of the sellers, the neighbors and us. It was an unexpected issue that Annie worked through with patience, knowledge and professionalism. We closed on the house in December and were able to spend a wonderful new year's holiday with our whole family. We were singing Annie's praises then, and I am singing them now. She is a total professional, knowledgeable, patient and detail-oriented. It was a pleasure working with Annie. I could not recommend her more positively, and I appreciate the opportunity to put some of these comments in writing!
