My wife and I have made our share of moves over the years (unfortunately), but this time we decided to make a big bet on our "forever home". Once we got started we were concerned that our dream was going to quickly turn into a nightmare. 0% of this was Billie's fault, of course. But everything from home inspections to lender issues to selling our existing home to work problems.... you name it and it just about happened. We wanted to do this SO badly. But there were many times where we weren't sure it was going to happen and I was ready to back out and accept our fate. And I can honestly say that if it wasn't for Billie, that likely would have been the outcome because we needed a LOT of handholding. In fact, I am not sure how she put up with US through the whole process! Billie's qualities are hard to put into words because she is so strong in so many areas... and many of them are intangible (empathy, instinct, etc.). When it comes to interpersonal skills, she was absolutely magical dealing with our constant stress, never-ending questions, and random inquiries. And she handled all of it with kindness and understanding. And at no point did I ever feel like I wasn't in the absolute best of hands throughout the entire process. Her knowledge is second-to-none, and it was crystal clear at absolutely every step of the way that she was representing our best interests as a buyer and being extremely thorough in all of her answers. She went way above the call of duty time and time again to make sure we knew everything we were doing, and having incredible foresight to help us think about things that weren't even on our radar yet. If it seems like I am overdoing it here with all of this praise and this long and rambling review..... it's because I get emotional sitting here and thinking about what Billie has done for me and my family. There were many times when I thought we were making a huge mistake by following our hearts instead of our minds. But Billie was right there with us every step of the way to help us figure it out. This simply wouldn't have happened without her. And now I am more excited than ever to get to Tennessee.... settle into our "forever home"... and get back to the land the way my wife and mine's families had in years past. fter many years of considering a move to TN from AZ to be near family, we contacted Billie Cole to begin the process of looking for a home. Since we were still in AZ, she sent us photos/videos of a couple of properties and answered our questions about the area. We saw a posting of a house for sale in our desired neighborhood which had many of the features we wanted. We saw it on the first day of the listing and called Billie as soon as we saw it. As the TN housing market is heating up, we were incredibly grateful that Billie took our call! My husband and I decided to move from WA state and found a beautiful home in TN that we had to see. Billie took a chance on a couple of out of towners. Billie both helped us sell a home and buy a home. In a difficult market (expensive, unique home), she never gave up. Our home was listed for a year with very little interest, but, once we had a prospective buyer, Billie was able to close the deal! As far as our purchase, Billie looked at dozens and dozens of homes both with me and without. I was very particular but she never made me feel like I was being a nuisance. We had a few possibilities fall through due to issues in inspection, and I am certain she must have despaired that I would ever find a house, but she cheerfully kept looking and I finally did. There were some unpleasant moments with the seller at closing, and unlike so many 'salespeople' with whom I've dealt, Billie actually cared. She couldn't change a thing, but, her empathy really helped me handle the situation. Overall, Billie was very pleasant to work with, responsive, available, and just plain NICE. If you want a flashy smooth talker, look elsewhere. If you want patience and kindness, you cannot go wrong with Billie.
