About Melissa

Originally from Upstate New York, Melissa began her career working for the Federal Reserve

after college. At the urging of grade school friends who had just moved to Charlotte, she made the

move to the Queen City in 1997 to work for Nations Bank which is now Bank of America.

With the encouragement of her husband, Gabe Libutti, who is in the mortgage industry, Melissa

earned her real estate license in 2000 and is a second-generation Realtor®®. With both families

ingrained in the real estate, banking and legal professions becoming a Realtor®® was an easy

choice and a perfect union. She has gone on to sell over $140M in Real Estate over her 20+ years

in the industry.

Fostering time management, customer service and follow-through, Melissa is focused on

building relationships based on trust and integrity rather than just selling homes. She is a strong

advocate of home ownership and community involvement and has built a reputation for her integrity

and commitment to getting the job done. She specializes in all facets of residential real estate

whether navigating the way for first time home buyers, trying to score that perfect distressed property,

or landing that perfect waterfront luxury estate. In addition, she and her husband have bought,

renovated and sold homes in the Metro Charlotte, Lake Norman and Los Angeles markets.

Melissa and Gabe reside in Charlotte with their beloved Beagles Jack and Pete. In her spare time she

enjoys exploring different towns, cities, parks in the Carolinas or spending time with family/friends at

their beach house in Coastal Brunswick County, NC
