About Christine

As a native Rhode Islander and lifelong resident of the East Bay, I am very familiar with the communities along the East Bay from the East Side of Providence to Newport.  I grew up in Barrington, and raised my sons in Portsmouth and have remained an active member of the island community through various memberships and volunteer positions since 1986.  

Among my volunteer activities, I have been a member and co-chair of the Newport Restoration Foundation’s Celebration Committee for nearly two decades.  This event hosts the City of Newport’s annual Historic Preservation Awards fulfilling my love of houses which began with my original undergraduate program in interior design.  

My previous career as an editorial assistant for the Providence Journal, and later Newport Life Magazine, has given me a thorough knowledge of the areas communities and neighborhoods, school systems and local politics. As a landlord and home owner, my career in real estate has enhanced this knowledge to include attorneys, mortgage lenders, contractors and vendors.  

I receive listings and buyers through referrals, past clients and friends and I have placed numerous individuals and families in new homes, old homes, fixer-uppers and rentals.
