"Verified by RateMyAgent AAAAA ***** Closed in 26 days! NUFF SAID..August 2019 I went from looking for a rental to buying a house in 26 days. Donna broke down the numbers for me and quickly convinced me to purchase based off of realistic numbers. It was a Saturday and we found the house the very next day. Made an offer that Wednesday and had our keys 26 days later. It was soooo easy. I had heard the nightmares of buying a house and was intimidated, and now ask myself why? About Donna

“May we think of freedom not as the right to do as we please, but as the opportunity to do what is right.” (Peter Marshall). This message resonates well with Donna Librea, and her desire to extend to others her zest for hope, a bright future, and a strong sense of freedom.

Donna grew up in Long Island, New York, with her parents and four siblings. Her first big move and taste of freedom would come at the age of 21, when she decided to tour the United States with a friend using a map, a tent and the occasional inexpensive hotel. When she came back, she attended Farmingdale College to earn her Business Degree. After college, she worked as a bookkeeper for a well known decorator in New York, and then at an art gallery in Manhattan.  She gained a keen understanding of the affluent mindset, which further fueled her appetite for independence and freedom. 

During this time, she also got married and had a daughter, named Kaitlin.  In 1996, they decided it was time for a change, and moved to sunny Florida.  This was a major shift, which brought with it both excitement and the challenges of new surroundings. She began seeking a flexible occupation that would allow her to spend more time with her daughter, and yet accomplish her own personal and professional goals.  That led her to real estate, a decision that would help her realize her own independence, self worth, and confidence.  She realized that buying or selling a home was much “More Than A Move”, and that she could help others achieve the same things during their own major life changes. 

Today, Donna specializes in guiding those who are moving toward the next phase of life and freedom. Her expertise in research, negotiations, and attention to detail is something her mature clients appreciate.  She’s an advocate for those who are moving toward change and need a competent agent on their side. She’s recognized for helping her clients remain calm under pressure and is genuinely concerned with every part of their move, both physically and mentally. She’s also certified as a Graduate of Real Estate Institute and a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and earned the International Sterling Award.

When Donna isn’t helping her clients make life changing moves, you can find her at the beach, exercising her decorating skills, and spending time with Kaitlin, her son-in-law, Greg, and her grandchildren.  She also enjoys spending time with many of her clients even after their move, because they inevitably become her friends.  She remembers every major move in her own journey, and begins every day with a commitment to make a difference in someone else’s life at a time when they may need it most.
