Derrick was a wonderful companion for about 4 solid days of showing me all over Ft. Lauderdale all the way down to N. Miami. He found me a home with absolutely everything I wanted, exactly where I wanted to be, and well within my price range. He helped me determine a fair price to offer and negotiated a final price that I think pleased both me and the seller. He helped me find the best financing as well. While going through the closing, I was in training for a new job, and I was trying to do things on short breaks, all on my phone, and I became incredibly stressed. Derrick was fantastic, remaining calm and guiding me through a couple of home-buyer-zilla moments. More than a couple. He's kind, has a gentle humor, and I trusted him completely. He had my best interests in mind and at heart at every juncture of the search and transaction. There just couldn't possibly be anyone better,

 Originally from Tennessee, Derrick relocated to South Florida after obtaining degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and the University of Florida. Since joining The Gayle Borden Group in 2000, Derrick has excelled in the roles of Marketing Director, as well as a highly efficient and detail-oriented Transaction Manager, and now as a successful member of the sales team.
