Luis and Jaime Marquez started their real estate careers in 1997 in Scottsdale, AZ...the year they married! Their combined experience over the years spans sales, marketing, development, construction and property management. Today, they are a husband and wife Realtor team with Coldwell Banker Distinctive Properties based in historic downtown Durango, Colorado and focused 100% on serving Buyers and Sellers.  After graduating from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ...GO CATS!... they started their careers in the Scottsdale market, their hometown. Jaime worked in the development and sales of class "A" multi-family apartments and luxury mid-rise residential condos while Luis launched his career in construction with Pulte Homes. Luis' resume includes time with several very high-end residential builders in the North Scottsdale market building large estates and private golf clubhouses.

Vacationing in Durango over several decades, they decided it was the ideal “village” to raise a family in, so in 2007 they made their move to Durango. During the first 10 years or so in the Durango market they converted 130 apartments to condos and sold them, owned their own real estate firm and developed 3 subdivisions where they built and sold 16 spec homes.

Today, Jaime and Luis love everything about the Colorado lifestyle including enjoying family mountain adventures with their 3 sons. Professionalism, customer service, honesty, integrity and having a little fun along the way are key in their business model with the primary goal being happy clients.
