What do Clients Say?
Rhonda was so patient and helpful to us downsizing to a townhouse that just met our needs and location. With the market as tight as it is, she was on top of new listings as soon as they hit. She also guided us through the sale of a home that we had lived in for 25 years. Rhonda made valuable suggestions to help us get the price we needed, but always left the decisions up to us. A true professional! Meg and John Barbour

Rhonda Turpin was an absolute pleasure to work with from day 1. She listened intently to what I was looking for and tailored our visits to properties that best met my needs. As my requirements shifted she quickly refined her recommendations, never hurrying me along. As an out of town client, Rhonda was extremely efficient with my time and schedule, and was always reachable. Once we located a property she excelled at stepping me through the process - recommending local attorneys, surveyors, soil scientists, and builders. It gave me great comfort with how she stayed engaged with each activity, frequently checking in to see if I needed anything, and helping to push each one along. She was a true partner in the process, always having my best interests at heart, and always treating me like her most important client. It was an enjoyable process and I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Rhonda. Chad Richards

About Rhonda
Rhonda is a third-generation native of Black Mountain who has spent her entire life living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains with her family. After graduating from Owen High School, she went on to earn a degree from McDowell Technical Community College. Since then, she has had a broad and successful entrepreneurial career, allowing her to serve the residents in and around her hometown of Black Mountain since 1993. Rhonda joined Greybeard Realty in 2020 as a Broker/REALTOR, allowing her to turn her passion for real estate into a full-time career and lifestyle. She is also a real estate investor, holding properties in NC and other states.
Having traveled around the WNC mountains for her clients, Rhonda has become very familiar with the area’s different neighborhoods, developments, and backroads. It was this aspect of her career that ignited a passion for real estate and inspired her to become a broker. This ever-evolving and deep-seated knowledge of the physical and cultural landscapes of Western North Carolina has aided her in cultivating relationships and revealing stunning locations not easily seen from highways and major routes. Exploring these hills and discovering sites that showcase the natural beauty that can only be found here in our region has become one of the most enjoyable aspects of her work over the years.
In her free time, Rhonda is an avid hiker and loves to spend time with her husband, Jim, and their two dogs. She is also extremely interested in gourmet healthy cooking and enjoys finding new places to enjoy delicious, locally sourced foods.
