Chris came recommended to us by a good friend who had an amazing experience working with him to purchase their Martis Creek home. So when it was time for us to explore buying our weekend getaway at Northstar, they didn't hesitate to introduce us. We started our search during Covid-19 shelter in place, and Chris went over and beyond to accommodate our needs and be mindful of health and safety. We have used Chris as our agent on both the buy and sell side. He delivered fantastic outcomes on both. On the buy side, Chris was incredibly patient with us as we searched for the right Tahoe property and was able to move quickly once we found the home we wanted. Our offer was accepted immediately and the transaction could not have been easier. We had a little more complexity on the sell side, but Chris put together a comprehensive strategy to market the house. By the time it came on the market, there was already a great deal of interest and demand. We ended up with multiple offers before the first weekend of showings, which is not typical for the Tahoe market. When our first offer fell through because of some undisclosed buyer financial issues, Chris’ calming demeanor kept us from getting overly frustrated. Because he had done such a good job with the initial marketing of the house and had stayed in contact with prospective backup buyers, we were able to quickly select from two new offers within days of bringing the house back on the market. In the end, we ended up getting a much better price with the new offer and the deal closed quickly and smoothly. Simply put, Chris is a joy to work with. He is highly professional without being uptight. He has a calm, kind, and polite demeanor, but also sharp business instincts and a great work ethic. He does not operate on Tahoe time and always prioritizes his client. Additionally, he is well connected and has great instincts with regard to things like pricing, marketing, timing, and evaluating offers.
